It has been generally accepted that what we have been seeing with all of these new technologies like DALL-E and Midjourney and even their text counterparts like ChatbotGPT, that they are actually thinking for themselves. I have had hard time with that from the getgo. These "advanced" technologies have basically scraped the Internet for all their content, and it seems that none of it is truly original. It is misleading to think so. The human soul is the actual creator of original content, and these programs are just posers. It makes artists and programmers alike furious that their hard work and the hard earned money is being abused by such things. There is much litigation out there against these technologies, and I don't think it is going to end well for them. Maybe they should actually scrape only from the public domain? Is that even possible? I am not sure it can be so discriminate.

Sports illustrated has been producing trash articles from fake author that have no original content. It probably is boring and a waste of time to read. I think men just get the magazine for the pictures and statistics. Is this also AI generated?
ChatbotGPT has been seen to have hallucinations such that users must be educated enough to disseminate what is truth and what is fiction. It cannot be trusted. I have found that even Stack Overflow (and they since have banned AI from being used) with its posts by humans, has been full of lies and bad code that, as a programmer or whatever field you are searching for, you must be an expert so that you do not make bugs or ruin your career with falsehoods.
What are we to do as a society besides shut down these terrible monoliths. Unless a company who creates these engines can use only certain datasets from their own pool or from public domain, this must be stopped. It is fueling even more degradation and lack of intelligence for our society with all the misinformation and lack of actual mental exercise being used by young people to make them productive members or society.
